Clinical Supervision for Therapists in Tennessee
A reflective, IFS-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming space to deepen your clinical work, not just log hours.
Available in person in Murfreesboro and virtually throughout Tennessee.
Supervision That Goes Beyond the Requirement
Becoming a licensed clinician takes more than accumulating hours. It takes someone in your corner who will help you make sense of what's happening in the room - with your clients, with yourself, and between the two.
Good supervision creates space to slow down. To understand what's underneath the clinical moment - the relational dynamics, the nervous system responses, the parts of you that are still finding their footing.
I've worked across a wide range of settings - community mental health, domestic and sexual violence, addictions, jail re-entry, school-based work, and private practice - and I bring all of that into supervision with you. My approach is collaborative, relational, and built around helping you grow into the kind of therapist you actually want to be.
A Supervision Space for Therapists Who Want to Work More Deeply
Supervision with me may be especially supportive if you:
-
Work with autistic, ADHD, or highly sensitive adults
-
Want to provide neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed care
-
Are interested in Internal Family Systems (IFS) or parts-based work
-
Feel burned out by highly manualized or pathologizing approaches
-
Are a neurodivergent therapist yourself and want supervision that respects how you process and work
-
Want support developing a clinical identity and style that feels authentically yours
You don't need to already be trained in IFS or any specific modality. You just need to be curious, open to reflection, and genuinely invested in your clients and your own growth.
My Approach to Supervision
My supervision approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in curiosity rather than criticism or evaluation.
I bring an IFS-informed lens to supervision - which means we may explore the parts of you that feel uncertain, the parts that push hard to perform competence, and the parts that are still growing into this work. Understanding yourself as a clinician is one of the most valuable things supervision can offer.
Supervision with me may include:
-
Case consultation and clinical conceptualization
-
Neurodivergent-affirming approaches to diagnosis and treatment
-
Exploring countertransference and relational dynamics
-
Understanding nervous system responses - yours and your clients'
-
Ethical and professional development
-
Building confidence in your clinical intuition
-
Developing a therapeutic identity that feels grounded and authentic
I will help you build self-awareness that makes you a more regulated, present, and effective clinician.
Supervision for Clinicians Working with
Autism, ADHD, and Trauma
Many therapists receive little formal training in neurodivergent presentations, and it shows in the gaps clients experience when seeking affirming care.
Areas many clinicians want more support in:
-
Adult autism and high-masking presentations
-
ADHD in adults - especially emotional dysregulation and burnout
-
Neurodivergent burnout and shutdown patterns
-
Complex trauma in neurodivergent populations
-
Sensory and nervous system differences
-
Autism and ADHD assessment considerations
Supervision can be a space to develop fluency in these areas - not just conceptually, but relationally. To understand how to be with these clients in a way that is genuinely affirming rather than just technically correct.
Topics we may explore together:
-
Masking, identity exploration, and the unmasking process in therapy
-
Trauma-informed neurodivergent care
-
Parts work and IFS with neurodivergent clients
-
Working with highly sensitive clients and nervous system overwhelm
-
Ethical and affirming approaches to assessment and diagnosis

For Neurodivergent Therapists
If you are a neurodivergent therapist yourself, you may have found that some clinical and supervision spaces weren't built with you in mind.
Neurodivergent clinicians often navigate unique challenges in the field - burnout and overextension, sensory overwhelm, masking in professional spaces, imposter syndrome, and the difficulty of balancing authenticity with professional expectations.
Supervision with me is a space where your nervous system, communication style, and processing needs are respected rather than treated as something to manage. You don't need to perform neurotypicality here.
